Sylvania Township Trustee candidate field narrowed to six

Six candidates from a field of 17 applicants have been selected for interviews to fill the vacated seat of retired Sylvania Township Trustee John Crandall.
The candidates, Joel Beren, John DiSalle, Jill Johnson, Doug Koop, Michael Kott, and David Shinaver will each meet with Trustees Neal Mahoney and John Jennewine. Four will meet during a special meeting before the July 16 Board of Trustees meeting and two other candidates will meet during the meeting. There is a deadline of July 30 for one of the candidates to be appointed to the trustee position.
