The Planning and Zoning Department reviews and issues permits for the construction of new residential, commercial, and industrial sites within the township. Permits are also required for signage, building additions, remodeling, pools, ponds, or for any accessory structure, such as a garage, carport, fence, gazebo or deck. For properties possessing well and/or septic, written approval must first be received from the Lucas County Health Dept. prior to receiving a zoning permit.
